Jose and his team did a great job. I needed to get my house ready to sell after years of wear and tear, but I wasn’t ready to dive into the whole project at once. I had heard so many horror stories about bad contractors, I wanted to start small with the master bath and see how the project would turn out. Jose took the time on our first meeting to listen to what I wanted and asked questions to clarify aspects I hadn’t considered. Work began on time and his team took care to protect the rest of the house from the dust/etc. Jose’s tile man, Mr. Gabriel did a fabulous job. He was quiet and conscientious, thoroughly cleaning up at the end of every day. He was cordial when I would look in to see what new progress was made. He didn’t even complain about resetting a floor tile when we stepped on it while it was still setting, causing it to shift. Jose took the initiative to upgrade the toilet to a brand new, low flow model because he felt it was more fitting in the newly remodeled bathroom. At first I didn’t think it was necessary, but I ended up agreeing with him.
I was so pleased with the way the bathroom turned out, that I went ahead and hired J & T to do the rest of the house (paint, carpet, install new stainless appliances, replace sliding glass door, siding repair, gutter repair, etc.) I really appreciated Jose’s strong communication skills. He was always responsive when I would contact him by text or phone. He was great at explaining the pros and cons of various options so I could make the right decision. In any project of this scope, issues are bound to arise and maintaining open lines of communication is crucial. Jose was easy to work with and a genuinely nice person. He really cares about customer satisfaction and his reputation. I highly recommend Jose and his team at J & T Remodeling.
